Only interesting if consumables are included and track use and insurance are also. Then, becomes in interesting proposition because a 911 S track car is not terrible, and you can cook the brakes and tires and just return it.

But I highly doubt they don't have something in the paperwork which excludes track use.

I just asked someone at Porsche atlanta.. will update with answer here

No track use. I confirmed. Sent an email and they said “Track use is strictly prohibited”

Talked to my SA today. I ordered my GTS 4.0 on 10/22. Estimated Delivery is 2/12/2021. Hope Covid lock down doesn't affect Manufacturing in Germany.

It might be worth it just to drive one to decide if that may suit you for a DD...possibly? I am pondering maybe a Spyder as a Porsche I would actually drive anywhere anytime I want, as I rarely take the GT car out of her closet.

Crazy.
It's now called Porsche Drive, and is available in LA.

https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessor.../subscription/

Spike Ferensten launched it on his podcast a few weeks ago with the people from Porsche Drive.

Why? I DD my GT3. Its an awesome DD that adds fun to what is otherwise a 50 mile round trip per day commute,as I did 5 previous Porsche's and 6 previous Ferrari's.
After all, driving is all a car is good for, whether its a GT3, TR or a GTi

I put 12000 miles on my Lava 18 GT3 in 8 months without issue. However, the last 50 yards were really rough on her.

I don't know if it's more of a shame for you, or the car.
