Default Selling 2 Porsche’s to get one ...

I have a 2018 macan gts and a cpo 2018 Gt3 pdk which I am considering consolidating to one “all around” car that can do everything. I track maybe twice a year , would want roof racks for surfboard , and a solid daily driver in LA. Considering a used turbo s vs ?

Would welcome tour your suggestions and thanks in advance. !

any time you go from a gt3 to a turbo or TTS you are setting yourself up for a big letdown.

Keep the GT3 and put a rack on it.

Hard to get all of that out of one car without compromises.

I bought a macan turbo since I only have space for one car and had high hopes it would be able to do everything. It couldn't, so now it's gone and my gt3 is my daily, if I need something with space and practicality enterprise will pick me up.

If you have the ability to have a dedicated sports car and a useful car, keep them both. There is no one car that's good at everything and you will inevitably wind up disappointed.

I like the idea of dd the Gt3 more as it sits more than anything else right now in the garage and every time I see it I can’t help but think , there’s a bunch of money just hanging out lol.

Great suggestions everyone keep them coming !

This is very true.

Jack of all trades... master of none. OP, you'll be disappointed with whatever you get with those requirements, especially coming from a GT car.

I'll be the one to say it. In your shoes looking to consolidate GT3 + Macan = 1 Porsche, I would personally go TTS. IMO easy to say use the GT3 as sure the rush to 9k and NA experience is the ****, but I wasn't enjoying that on the 405 or cruising streets in LA. Had to get out to the canyons to get the juices flowing which made my GT3 a weekend car or "fun" car and used a different 911 for DD duties which was nice. DD a GT3 can be done for sure, but I'd rather to do in the cushier more effortless TTS

Can't think of a better 911 to have than GT variant if it's a +1, but for just one car for all the scenarios and to be truly an "all around car" & swiss army knife I'd go TTS. It's what I was going to buy for my DD (991.1) until I came across a perfectly specced 50th personally

YMMV

Daily drive the GT3 and don't look back.

Sell the Macan for gas money.

Zero chance I’d trade a gt3 for a turbo. You have a great combo- suv for hauling stuff around. Gt3 as a daily.

Stick with what what you have and drive your cars more.
