Relax, I didn't attack you and it is good data to have. Just doing a favor for others and better to have it written. If I didn't care about I wouldn't have taken the time to write the data and post it.

Perhaps a dumb question, but why so much more weight on the left side than the right?

There’s a pad under the front left (wheel stop) that the scale is sitting on. Normally if I’m corner weighting a car I have them farther forward but today I just wanted to get the overall weights. I forgot to mention earlier to disregard the each scale and only look at the total.

The 600LT is one of the best cars I’ve driven on the track. It’s extremely impressive

That makes sense. Thank you.

Mentioned the F and M had nearly full tanks.
Pista: 3379lbs = 1.533 kg
GT3RS: (with Mag wheels 3207lbs ) 3230lbs = 1.465 kg
600LT: 3067lbs = 1.391 kg

all three had full tanks - or?

Good info thx

But have to agree - in todays world, I would never watch a 2 min video just to see 1 second of info - I'm glad you posted, and also glad someone summarized.

I am impressed with how light the 600LT pans out- that is pretty impressive.

Looks like this was posted in the Ferrari forum and he was banned. Smh. Anything that is seen as negative to the Ferrari brand seems to get flagged.

Just for info I recently had my 20 year old 996 GT3 CS weighed (before adjustments), and it came in at basically around 3192 lbs, that was with a full tank of fuel. It does have a Manthey K400 kit which includes bigger/heavier front brakes and uprated suspension, plus a big heavy battery, thought it might be a bit lighter but not so.

NO freedom of speech at F-Chat. Typical Ferrari forum behavior, more on opinion and gratification of the Ferrari product than factual.

Thank you for posting the video and thanks for members who summarized.

Drive safe,

Wow l'm surprised as well, 1446kg is a porker. I always thought the 996.1 was the most pure and lightest GT3.

I think the antiques are light (993s and 964s).

Thanks for the info. I think the vid gives extra credibility because you can see the scales.

2 mins is hardly a price to pay. If this had been JWW or any of the other youtubers it would have been 15 mins.

That's kind of what I thought, although I do know the standard 996 C2 was quite a few kg lighter than the GT3. Official figures seem to suggest it should be under 3000 lbs (1360kg), but that's maybe without fluids etc and of course standard lighter front brakes etc.
