We spent quite of time in Oregon Portland, McKenzie Loop, Willamette Vealley, Cannon Beach and all points in between. Spectacular beauty! We loved Oregon.

I think you are right! BTW your cross country trip was part of my inspiration for ours! Thank you for that.

Great thread, fantastic color choice.

4 years ago my oldest son graduated from HS. I had a meeting in FL 3 weeks after his graduation, rather than take the usual two hour flight i asked him if he would be interested in a road trip. He said yes so we ended up including my youngest son who was 13 at the time. Since there were 3 guys we had to forgo the P-car and we loaded in the RR. We hit 6 Triple D restaurants along the way, a half dozen other cool, recommended eateries, The Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, the Blue Ridge Mountains, The BMW factory and Museum in Spartanburg, and collected a week’s worth of memories.

Here we go again! My daughter is gonna stay a week with friends in Laguna Beach CA so naturally I offered to drive her out there! Gotta get my front plate back on, mud flaps back on and Sport Pilots swapped for my 4S’s. Sunday cannot get here quick enough!

There are specs, and then there are specs. What a car. What a trip! Hope you enjoyed the Pacific Northwest and the Sea to Sky.

What a fantastic post, and a timely reminder (at a time –in UK lockdown– when Porsche ownership might be a questionable proposition) just how special these cars are, and how lucky we are to be able to create these sorts of priceless memories. Thank you.

Amazing post, very cool to read. Looking at the stickers I see you went to Flagstaff, Arizona, you don't have a photo of the GT3 in Flagstaff by any chance, do you? (I did a student exchange program and ended up in Flagstaff, that's why )
