Lightbulb Dundon 991 (All) GT3 & GT3 RS Dual Reverse Cone Airbox & 93mm TB & Plenum Kit

It's safe to say, the focus on I/H/E has been bias towards H/E. Surprised to see there is no word on Dundon's recent wonderful creation of their Dual Reverse Cone Airbox + 93mm Throttle Body & Center Plenum Kit

991.1 & 991.2 GT3 Dual Reverse Cone Airbox

991.1 & 991.2 GT3 RS Dual Reverse Cone Airbox

991.1 & 991.2 GT3 & GT3 RS 93mm Throttle Body & Center Plenum Kit

If you have seen the OEM intakes and throttle body on both the GT3 and 3RS, you will know how "small" these are compared to the massive chambers Dundon has created. The performance gains are also substantial enough for everyone to take notice.

Yes very cool stuff....if you have all the money in the world. For fun and dreams I dropped headers, center muffler, throttle body and intake into the shopping cart. $20,160 before shipping and installation. I'm sure all this stuff is so awesome....and these products are creme of the crop...but way out of my league for mods.

I'll just have to live with my $1400 side muffler deletes and stock everything else. ;-)

I agree Alan...but these mods are so interesting to me...LOL.

For me I will probably do a 2nd set of wheels/tires for track use and I am leaning to doing a few DE's on the PCCB then shaping to steel rotors if I do more DE...we will see. Love the car sop much just how it is...total dream come true.

Dude, you are in this thread too ! lol.

I love the things that Dundon has made, but I think this one is too pricey for the performance gain. IMO. If Jamie could lower the price 30% it will be enticing.

Just curious, are these K&N type cone filters designed to flow both ways without losing filtering ability or impeding flow rate? In this application the intake air flows from the inside to the outside.

Intake flows from the inside to the outside and are designed to work equally either direction.

Seems my thunder was stolen a bit by the OP, which is fine, we've had the parts out and installed on 20+ 991.2 GT3RS, there is a discount for the complete kit, it's not 30% though... Was waiting to post about all 3 versions as the 991.2 GT3 parts are finishing up on the dyno this week.

Those that are interested in gains and really helping the engine breathe on the 991.2 GT3RS, GT3 or Touring give us a call... And keep in mind that by removing intake restriction, ram air is more effective and the car will make more power moving through the air than statically on the dyno. We are formulating the correct way to capture this that everyone will understand.

The complete Exhaust and Intake kit on a 991.2 GT3RS makes 52lbft max torque gains at 4500rpm, 45whp max whp gains at 8650, and 27whp peak all in static air on our dyno. No Check engine lights, no tuning required.

Yes the parts are expensive, finding a way to manufacture these large parts without massive tooling costs was tricky, especially to make them to the quality and precision required in the intake. Not going into too much detail, but we scoured the possible ways to manufacture the parts and settled where we did for tooling costs, speed of mfg, flexibility in run sizes and part cost, knowing the part costs were going to be a little more but part quality, part availability, lead-times and flexibility would be better.

I'll be putting a post together for the 991.2 GT3 Touring and for the 991.2 GT3 in a few days...

Well, you certainly get points for the largest airbox around. Jesuchristo!
