Over the weekend I drove and put a deposit on winged GT3 manual with 1300 miles. I don't love the wing - but I could live with it because the car is that amazing.
Today I found a GT3 touring in the same color and it has 4000 miles and its 13k over original sticker. Is this normal? I did but a deposit on it.
I do understand what happened to the R but this is not an R. I appreciate any wisdom on this.
Also - The porsche decal that runs the length of the car over both doors - is it applied prior to top coat or is that removable.
I really appreciate any comments
Thanks

I have been looking for a friend of mine and there are only a handful for sale. If you want a Touring you don't have many to choose from. All the ones I have seen have been over sticker. I prefer the steel brakes for the street.

Think you can shop, and what’s the full spec? No PCCB’s would be a fail for me, and 4K miles you can do better. A Touring is a GT3 minus a wing, and buyers have made the hype. With that sad if it appeals to you, and you like the spec go for it. Personally, I wouldn’t pay over on a used GT3.
not the case for a winged car.
13k is not much given current market conditions. I wouldn’t sell mine for 30 k over. It is not just a GT3 without a wing. It is a classic 911 shaped car that happened to sing the 9000 tune on any curved road.
OP: Trade what you have, you will never look back.

Buyers made the hype because, there are more of them than sellers.

I appreciate that.
I am good with Porsche’s up to 1998. The new stuff is all new
I drove
this Saturday. It was perfect. 1000 miles
loaded!!
I have a hard time driving up to a clients house with the wing

Congrats!! Love the touring in that color. I agree about removing the side stripes. Looks a little busy with the red stripe wheel and side stripes together.

Alright guys, I have a 2019 Touring I took delivery of in April and has now 700 miles. It has just a few options - FAL, big tank, red belts, then I replaced the 4 Way seats with 18 Ways with red stitching, added red/black houndstooth fabric seat back centers, red/black Cocomats to dress up the interior a little, front of car has 3M Pro PPF, Soul center muffler bypass (OEM center goes w/ car or I can put the OEM center back onto the car and keep the Soul). Out of my three 991.2 cars, I need to sell one so it's down to the Touring or the RS. Someone please make me a fair offer so I won't have to decide which one to let go.
The Touring actually sits 3/4" lower than the RS (both cars have the front spring perches lowered all the way) so it looks just as agreesive as the RS, even w/o a wing and narrower.
