This.

Still, a bargain.

I just assumed there was a reserve and wouldn't sell below $265 - $270. BYOT should be publishing this information and more people would bid.

For the 911r relative to market? Yes...if the market crashes the value of everything in this bracket unilaterally gets worse, the only difference is after a recovery, the more limited cars get back to where they were sooner.

In the collectors world, that on the sticker is. Period. Granted normally these sell for 250-270 with dual mass (as one did very recently on BAT as well but it was silver), so the premium is more like 30-60k depending. If you want bang for the buck and to drive the hell out of it, buying the dual mass and converting to single is an awesome option.

Who says options are worth nothing when you sell the car? The SMFW option is worth 10 to 15 times its original cost. Same goes for the 2006 Ford GT Heritage paint scheme, a $13K option making the Heritage cars worth many times more.

If you aren't driving the damn car, does it even matter if it's a SMFW or DMFW?

Yes, especially if you don’t drive it.

Because you want to be able to resell it to others who won’t drive it and will never know the difference as it rots in their garage.

911R prices that actually clear in the market are a lot lower than those still being held hostage.

There’s one originally ordered by the owner of Circle Porsche that’s been pretty much sitting since November 2016: (originally listed therefor 599,999.00) and now offered by CNC Motors

PRICE $389,991
INTERNET PRICE $369,991
And Rennlist Price $349,991• OBO • Trade

All this makes me think that Speedster buyers could be in for a short-term shearing... If 911R's are settling in the low-mid 200's, where will the Speedster land?
