Great color and very rare. Brands Hatch photo only adds to the cachet.

If you are referring to this in terms of performance improvements, then no, its not, but then by the same logic you will very quickly conclude that an RS is not a good track car to chase times in either and you will inevitably end up with a decision between getting a cup car or a 718 club sport to chase times in, as it will be cheaper and more suitable for its intended use - that is chasing track times all over the place.

One thing i have come to realize is that in reality the RS is a good DE car, but as you get more serious into performance driving and push the car and yourself towards your limits the risk reward trade-off works against you.
There was something that is always the answer... oh yes, Miata =)

As long as you don't damage the $27k hood. Or the absurdly expensive fenders.
Otherwise, it's fine.

CF hood and fenders on both. One is painted; the other is just visually exposed/ sealed. Expensive if you damage it either way.

Yup or you pay someone to handle the storage, transport, and maintenance of that non-street legal track car.

That being said, it is nice to drive your car to the track, have fun with it on the track, and drive it back home. I'll never buy a tow rig and trailer....don't have the time or energy for it, much rather do "arrive and drive" service.

What wheels and tire sizes are you running and more importantly, the nannies don't freak out?

Then you get sick of the above and go back to the best street/track compromise car

I question the intelligence of anybody who claims the WP (exposed carbon hood, roof, and wing) makes the car lighter.
That said, I did see a bunch of WP 3RS at the track this past weekend and they look great.

19 inch Forgelines with Hoosier R7s 295/30/19 on front and 335/30/19. Once the 19s are installed you need to do about 10 miles of leisurely street driving with all the nannies off. The computer learns the new tire/wheel sizes and the nannies work fine. The caliper clearance is tight. Little rocks get caught between the barrel and the caliper resulting in scoring on the inside of the barrel and the caliper, but it's just cosmetic.
