I had the Akrapovic Race Line Slip On and Link Pipe set installed on my 2019 GT3 Touring last Friday at Champion Motorsport. If you are in South Florida I highly recommend Champion Motorsport. The exhaust was bought from Supreme Power and they were a pleasure to deal with as well. I had just the Akrapovic center installed previously and wanted it to be a little louder, so I added the link pipes. Another reason was to get rid of valves and the transition of valves opening and closing. The car sounds amazing. It’s loud and aggressive but not over the top. Has a little more drone when compared to just center section. Will take some fly by videos to post soon.
Looks so nice. Champion Motorsport is awesome to deal with. They’ve always done all my work since 2010 and now (even though I’m now nearly an hour away), installed my Akrapovic in the 997.2 GT3, Dundon in the 991.2 GT3T, Service, and track prep. Loved my Race Akrapovic system on the 997.2 GT3. We gotta meet up soon and compare side by side.
Advice on the Akra race line slip on with link pipes
Hello, it would be great if you could post some videos of your set up of the race line slip ons with the link pipes as I am thinking of buying this week. Just confused whether to get the link pipes or just go with the slip ons.
I am only interested in the sound mostly and minor gains would be welcome but I don’t think it adds anything anyway.
Any videos or advice would be very welcome indeed.
thanks

Let us know if you would like pricing on those Akrapovic pieces!
It would be worth it to get the link pipes while everything is apart instead of having to add it again later.

Thanks guys for the help offered but I am in Dubai so doesn’t make much sense to order from the States.
I got myself the central bypass from Akra and it sounds great, not too loud which is what I wanted anyway, sound at idle is awesome.
will let you guys know if I end up with link pipe anytime soon.

That’s good to know, why don’t you send me a pm for the list of things you have for GT3? Perhaps I could order something that I haven’t thought of yet.
thanks

So this set up is basically straight pipe from the CAT? This thing must be LOUD! Love to hear it.
My AWE Switchpath is also a straight pipe from the cat, and I think it sounds fantastic. Some drone at 2100RPM in 7th (53MPH), but I think it sounds exactly how a car like this should sound. I will likely put the OEM TI center back on, but I'm hoping the sound stays similar if not the same.
