Deal with it, it's 2019. All supercars will have GPF: Huracan Evo, Ferrari F8, Audi R8,... McLaren will follow...
Porsche compensated the GPF with a lighter exhaust system and the independent valves.
The good news: aftermarket exhaust with a ECU reflash will give you an even more performant car.

Huracan EVO and performante do not have GPF, they gave them a dual injection system, port and direct and it is just below the threshold needed for applying GPFs. So there are solutions to avoid gpfs but I think for future engines since current ones were not designed for this or at least the packaging doesn't allow for it.

Perhaps they were too far in the development to change anything when these new regulations came out. They were thrown together and implemented in a very short time following dieselgate.

Prob3 and emix, i cant see the logic how this is an old engine?
Quoting total 911 this is the gen3 engine that the technicians call it at factory.
Great that we have the first video and now we need more videos when its being reved under pressure to 9k.
Q for everyone, if engine and exhaust is exactly as for the speedster it must sound exactly the same correct? Does this meen the 3rs will sound like the speedster did when being tested at nurburgring?

I hate to sound negative, the amount of complains of OPF is a little over the top.
We will always have something to nitpick against. If it's not OPF, it will be something.
These are just simple bolt-ons to meet emissions, regulatory requirements whilst allowing us the possibility to continue to enjoy the cars we love for as long as possible. Wait till someone puts a definitive number on the crude reserves left on this Earth then everyone will going nuts.
"Upgrade" to Inconel this, Titanium that - You know this is what you will do anyway.

Hd throttle response???
I was out driving my .2 gt3 yesterday, enjoying and whilst driving thinking if it would be possible to detect a more precise throttle response.
Imo its not, the damn thing is sooo precise its unbelievable. Razorsharp.
So this leaves me thinking.
Could it be that the .3rs has more torque????

Perhaps it has even more in reality. How else could you notice a hd throttle response?? As mentioned before the .2gt3 is already hd response!
