Honestly, those passing are par for the course. It is the Ring after all. During the 2 days I spent last week at the Ring, I have seen far more closer calls.

If one needs handholding while passing, they shouldn't even be driving there.

And people learn QUICKLY while driving there, always check mirrors looking back. The #1 rule at the Ring is, no matter how fast you are going, there is always going to be another one faster coming up behind, fast!

How many of you have driven at the Ring? You'd know it's usually worse than the vids during public driving

i've driven there during a tourist day. the majority of the people actually seemed to be enjoying the drive.
and then there were the few people who treated it like a race / track day.

i can't say what is normal or not, but i thought those guys were asses too.

Fun video. I didn’t see anything alarming. Seems like they’re having fun. They followed good ring etiquette and drove well.

Welcome to Rennlist. Keyboard drivers. Hate first and ask questions later. Not to mention most of keyboard drivers here would **** their pants driving at half the pace (as passengers naturally). Not because of the speed but because bolsters would wear off and would get a few stone chips.

thanks for posting!

Iam available for debate or any question from all of you guys :-)

And i have just one question for every guys who says who was *******, dangerous, killer, need to be banned from any track, need to go in prison etc
Is it more dangerous to do this at 200km/H on one racetrack with marshall security, guard rail everywhere, respect the flag, respect overtaking rules etc, or to accelerate at 100KM/h instead 50km/h limitation on an open road where some child, family can pass, tree or wall on the side of the road etc?...to meditate :-)

Not sure what value there is in a debate. It's the wild west of the internet so you'll get all sorts of wide ranging opinions from respect to denouncement and everything in between.

If you're happy and having fun and the track organizers don't complain, then the rest is just empty words.

All you can do is have fun and if you make a mistake, own up to it and learn.

Seb: Pay no attention to the internet peanut gallery. Great driving. Appreciate your sharing with the rest of us.

i've never driven The Ring...but this is what the Ring is for. I see no issues...other than passenger really needs a helmet.

Wide variety of cars an drivers but notice how everyone stayed out of the way mostly.

Exactly! If this stuff alarms you - you need a Prius with extra size bumpers or you're more into C&C, deviated stitching, full leather etc., than the actual driving fast part
