Yeah the value won't be anywhere near what he expects and he'll be underwater quickly

If those of us who don't want to see these threads can avoid them easier, then we will no longer be tempted to post in them.

Huge numbers here do often give in to said temptation, just because it is forced in their faces and they can't resist the urge.

Those people wouldn't voluntarily go to a value sub-thread, therefore rennlist has reduced clicks/posts/revenue.

Best idea:

If there are too many mentions to 'future value'
'Future collectable', and use 'RS+Money+ADM' or 'manual+value+Future' as linked post phrases then RL can automatically:

PUT A DOLLAR SIGN NEXT TO THE THREAD HEADLINE AND WE AVOID IT / DIVE IN

Mods, talk to programmers and make it happen. Anything with 25% or more bias towards posts including those phrases is therefore a 'value thread'

Look at the first page - there are only 3-4 now. This concept will die down for 991's soon as you cant drive them for free any more. In fact they made so many 991 vs 997 that none will be collectible except maybe the speedster or the R (dubious). It will rinse and repeat for the 992 GT3. Those that hate value threads should just not go in. I try and avoid them unless I'm bored (on the road) with nothing better to do.

The horse is out the barn for 991's - maybe target 992's
