Hey Fam, just picked up my new to me 991.2 GT3 and am hoping to breath some life into this forum.
I’d been in the market for a car last year but wasn’t able to pull the trigger then so I’m glad to finally be behind the wheel of one of these incredible cars.
First order of business was to order a Center Muffler bypass, I went with Fabspeed, so I’m planning to film a review of that system once it’s on the car. Aside from that, no mods planned, just lots of seat time both on and off track.
Car had all the right options for me so I’m quite happy and can say that these carbon bucket seats are surprisingly comfortable after doing a 9 hour drive bringing the car home from Portland.
Here’s a few pics once I was able to wash all the flies off.
Thought it might also be worth mentioning that I’ve owned a wide variety of other sports cars so I’m happy to share insights into other Marques. While a few of my recent cars have been from Porsche (718 GTS and 997.1 GT3) I’ve owned Corvettes (C7 GS and C6 Z06), a manual Audi R8 V10, BMW M4, Honda AP2 S2000, Nissan 370Z and 350Z, Camaro ZL1, and a handful of motorcycles.
No luck needed, just some interesting people is all! Hell, we are all on here because we love these extreme drivers cars, should be easy to revive this place.
Congrats OP, Beautiful car
Now is it Miami blue or Riveria blue ?
Jack
Much appreciated, it’s Miami blue. I felt a loud car deserved a loud color. Had been looking for Racing Yellow at the onset then came around to Miami Blue. The truth is this car looks incredible wearing any color. Although I feel the color needs to match the brakes... for instance, not a fan of Gaurds Red with the Yellow PCCB calipers. Or in the case of Miami Blue, looks much better with the yellow, the lack of brake dust is just an added benefit

Second that LOL.
Anyone else immediately turned off by people so proud of themselves? How did the forum ever make it before his arrival.
Where did this guy come from? I just cant thank him enough for finally showing up and making life on the GT3 enjoyable again. We can all rest easy now...it will all be alright from here on out.
