Love my E46 M3. Every time I get out of either car I seem to murmur "I love this car". Although the S54 doesn't have the pull the 9A1 3.8 does, it's still a joy to wring out to redline. I was afraid when I got the GT3 the M3 would be forgotten but that's not the case. It makes for a great daily driver.

Drove a 600hp Jag F-Type the other day (briefly). Lots of torque. Sounded fantastic. But... numb and disconnected from the road. Jumped back into my GT3 and wow... just completely different types of cars. So much more excitement when you live at 7-9K with that engine screaming behind you as you slingshot around corners. I definitely don't need, nor miss, the low-end torque you get from cars like that. Although on the highway that F-Type will just take off when it's floored. GT3 couldn't keep up. But around corners, it left the F-Type in the dust, which is way more enjoyable to me.

Does Jag build their own engines in-house?

I still enjoying driving my Turbo S very much. It's more relaxing to cruise around in. Plus the turbo's switch things up a bit from the NA RS
