Good point. For that very reason Moe recommended PPF over the roof. Paint needed a few weeks to cure so taking the car back next week for the roof PPF and then she's done!

Previously you could only avoid the wart if you ordered the car without a radio but as of 2018 all US cars must have backup cameras, thus a PCM, so it’s no longer possible in the US to order a Porsche without the wart.

I used trakwrap in Europe, car did fine. Stayed all over, traveled through 8 countries.

I got a few chips on the rear fender, not too bad, I should've done the track wrap, too bad about the wart, I wish it was more stylish, like maybe a tiny Porsche crest

...and to me, you have set yourself apart from the rest. Seeing a GT3 in the wild is rare enough, seeing a GT3 in the wild that has no wart and all the black bits painted to match the body color, well, it's a good thing I know you because otherwise, the chances of me seeing a similarly spec'd car is slim to none, even in La, La Land. Well done!

The roof wart concern came up today on the 718 Spyder/RS/GT4/GT4RS forum today and caused me to look up my old post here.

I still have this GT3. Will likely never sell her. Both the wart reduction and returning to the single color paint scheme of the 991.1 GT3, tremendously improved the appearance of my 991.2 GT3, IMHO.

Just took another look at her in the garage. Definitely going for a drive today!
