I am frankly pretty surprised so many Porsche GT3 car owners think putting tape on your steering wheel is a good look.

i dont understand the point of this. is it to preserve the red as it wears out over time?

I get what you are saying, but the stripe can be $300+.

It isn't a peasant versus rich person thing, it is a smart versus dumb thing to pay for something that can be achieved for 1/300th the cost (give or take)

I DON'T get what you are saying as I don't SEE anything wrong with putting a red stripe on mine. It never came off, never peeled up, never an issue.
BTW anyone of you want to do that send me a PM and I'll send you some leftover tape for free.

Yeah not sure how someone can argue the savings on it. Great for you to offer the remaining stuff for others. Maybe a program can be made! haha

Did the same with yellow stage spike tape. I’ve attached a few photos for anyone that’s curious as to how yellow looks.

Sometimes it is not a matter of wanting to save money, it's when the car comes to you w/o a feature you want real bad, then you mod what you can, this low hanging fruit mod is easy to do, easy to reverse if you don't like it or if it peels off (it never did on mine).

The trick I learned from BMW was cut to the chase, just buy a Porsche.
