Default GT3’s with 19x9.5 fronts wheels - any issues?

Anyone have experience running 19x9.5 front wheels with a 265 tyre on a 991.2 GT3?

It seems most people are using 9/12 combo with 265/325 tyres.

I’m putting an order for some 19’s and deciding between 9.5 or 9 inch fronts. I’m going to be running 265/35/19 Trofeos regardless of which width I go with so my logic is that if a 9 inch works with a 265 tyre, a 9.5 wheel will not be stretching the tyre that much that it becomes an issue?

I would ask why?

What are you hoping to accomplish when the 9" wheel fits it perfect why jump a .5" aside of just because you can. If there is a performance gain, then sure, but aside of that it wouldn't make much sense.

The recommended wheel width for the 265/35-19 Trofeo R is 9 to 10.5”. So 9” would technically work, but 9.5 or 10” would be better (better to be near the top of the range than bottom), assuming there are no clearance issues. The tire won’t be too stretched with 9.5 or 10”. Click specs:

The reason is the theoretical performance gain. I’m no expert but I think there would be more sidewalk flex with a 9 inch wheel vs 9.5.
