Default Racing Brakes

The kit is well made

Beautiful ceramic 394/390 mm rotors

Standard 6 piston front caliper, allows top loading of the pads without necessitating removal of the caliper.

New brake line

Updated the brakes to Racing Brakes.

Was tired of changing the rotors. Furthermore the Cup style calipers were horrendous for pad swaps on and off the track.

Went with the Ceramic upgrade with the Sintered pads. These pads coat the ceramic rotors which preserves the rotors.

It took some machining. It did take some time to get used to. However as promised by the owner of racing brake, once the rotors are completely coated, the performance continues to improve.

Warren, the owner of the RB brand, a very knowledgeable gentleman was right on the dot when it came to the sintered pads.

Currently very happy and satisfied. I have swapped several sintered pads, and these brakes continue to get better and better.

Here is a pictorial.

How much weight savings vs. PCCB or steel?

They must be a bit pricey?

Wow...i hate to ask how much these cost knowing about PCCB and the ST ceramics rotors that Autoquest is selling.

These are the same rotors I’m guessing just not with ST hats but something aftermarket.
The OEM calipers are OK abut PITA to change pads and the pucks do need to be upgraded.

They were 15k, including the entire kit. Great calipers. The rotors are brembo as well. But once the sinyered pads coat them, you basically only have to change the pads.

As far is performance is concerned, the racing brake sintered pads have an amazing stopping power in comparison to the stocks. My stock rotors did not last long. According to Warren, the owner of the RB, once the sintered pads coat the ceramics, the "rotors will last for a long time". The sintered pads do get very loud after the session, perhaps as they pads and the rotors expand, but the ability to stop is unreal.
The ceramics have decreased the unsprung weight of the car.
Additionally, unlike other ceramic rotors that get pitted after a season, such as brembos, after the utilization of the sintered pads, I have not noted any oxidization. Lastly, my rotors were recently weighed and I did not see any reduction in the rotor weight since original, after 3000 plus track miles!
I love em and am glad to have made the change. Especially my dislike for the cup style calipers, I can pop the pads out and swap them on the paddock.
Highly recommended.
