Default CBA Porsche 9 Amelia Island Auction Preview

We are at it again and have just posted our blog for Amelia.

Should be a lot more interesting than Scottsdale.

Here is the link:

Nicely done. Results confirm what I’ve been posting for some time re: GT2 RS prices. Great car but Porsche priced it for all the money from the factory. I’d like to say I feel bad for dealers that played the ADM game and are now under water with cars sitting in inventory but....

Good read. I think these results show that it doesn't make sense to take newer Porsche's to the auction. It would seem most of these cars could have been sold for the auction price without paying huge commission fees. Buddy could have dumped his 2RS for MSRP but instead tried to gamble at the casino/auction. The house always wins.

I think there is a typo in the all-in price for the green RS.

Thanks ... yes dealers know what hole they might be digging for themselves ... what makes little sense is that some seem to jump in and keep digging.

Thanks ... and for catching the typo. Yes auction houses took big fees at Amelia for delivering near zero value for them.

Curious what you guys thought of the price for the 964 RS? Looked like a great example, loved seeing Blossom Yellow v Speed and others. I was out of the tent during bidding but seemed like a good price.

Very nice car priced at the high end of the 3.6 RS market. Seems a fair deal.
