Just say no and Hell No to ADM... You made the right decision.

Sorry have to respectfully disagree on this. The WP is costly enough as is - and since it doesn't really offer any benefit - I think it's wasting cash. Certainly wouldn't pay an ADM on top of it.
Just my opinion.

Right on. There is absolutely no reason that either the 2 or 3RS should have ADMs. There're enough cars to for every person willing to pay MSRP.

Fact 1: there are "owners" in HKG and Malaysia right now looking to rid their delivery miles Weissach 2 & 3s at MSRP. No takers. ABSOLUTE CRICKETS.

Fact 2: It's easier to source an RS than a targa or turbo.

I'll bet a pretty penny that in 6 months ADM will vanish all around the world, and you'd be looking at reasonably priced RSes for the taking. The same people in the ADM will trade need to roll their capital into the Speedster anyways, so that's another plus in your column.

There is really no need to pay ADM. Plenty of RS cars for sale, ADMs are going down fast and will be 0 soon.

This whole GT market is being whipped into a frenzy. These are cars built to be tracked, but sadly that is not what they are being used for. a friend of mine wants one, he couldn't name a race car driver to save his life. Weird how the buyers of these cars have changed.

What you say makes sense to me. However, WP might just be more desirable in the long run hence paying adm might make more sense than a non WP car ???. I personally would prefer a WP with lesser options than a non WP car loaded with all the other options. Of course no ADM is the way to go.

$15k is the lowest ADM I've seen on a 3RS. I was offered the same but still walked away as the value proposition wasn't right for me. I do agree with others here that prices will normalize and get to MSRP, but I think it will take longer than this year. I hope I'm wrong though.

993.1 or 993.2? You need to be more specific.

I paid 9k over on a gt3 allocation so I could spec what I wanted. I’m a first time buyer. For 190k or 150k I want what I want. I’m not rich enough to compromise .. and I just couldn’t wait any longer! Yellow pdk with sofas arrives late March..

And that’s the rub. If you want a typical spec (dealer specced cough cough) there are deals to be found. If I were to build a 2RS it would be non-WP, standard interior, PTS green, silver wheels, standard headlights, FAL, big tank, autodim ... just like my touring. That car does not exist used. I’d even be fine with black, but that car too does not exist used.

You're not dumb but likely missed the summer driving unless you pony up on a used one that comes up for sale....I love how everyone has a crystal ball and can predict prices on this board....unfortunately they're not the ones with cars or the dealers....

And while many may disagree paying over for a spec/ color you want vs closer to MSRP for something you don't is worth every penny....
