What you mean? Surprised that a Porsche 911 isn't the best thing in the world?

Both the other cars have loads more power (upwards of 200+hp) and cost significantly more.

Not being an *** here, but those other two cars aren't in the same league.

Not at all,,

Maybe someone more professional would comment on his track driving,, anything on the upshifts at 6:07 and 6:17? Most his driving was in the mid range..

last time evo magazine did an 1:11:2 on anglesey with the 3RS on same tyres

id love to see what the 600 does wearing a set of cup 2 R tires like that with slightly healthier widths than stock...the gt3 needed to have fresh tires for this comparo for sure.

of course, both the Pista and Mclaren broke down after the test and needed to be worked on for 11 months (waiting for parts)! LOL!

And the porsche needed the pressure in one of the tires adjusted on the drive home.......

Results are as expected. Ferrari on fresh tires while the others on worn boots.

could have been a muted mic, but it sure seemed like there was a lot of coasting in the gt3 rs. I would expect the pista and 600LT to be faster, but would not expect a 3 second gap, especially on a short circuit.

Driver was terrible... Fail of a test. As someone mentioned above the 3RS already ran a 1.11 there.

That was not consistent. I agree- I think he thought he was driving another Turbo engine and did not take advantage of staying in the hire rev ranges

Didn't watch the video but what are the chances I drive .8 miles in my new touring today and see the Pista drive past me on the way to drop my car off where a 600LT is getting wrapped? All in a span of 5 minutes. Both cars are insane.

I am no race driver that's for sure but to me it seemed he was coasting in sections in the RS. This appears to be a video to ensure Ferrari doesn't get upset with Autocar. If EVO could get a 1.11 out of that car at the same track, why were Autocar slower?

Show me the article that stated EVO did a 1.11 at Anglesey in a 2rs or 3rs. The best a 3rs managed to date is 1.13.6 in the .1.
the 2rs has done a 1.12.
