MADE IN FLACHT sticker?

Nope. GT3s (street cars - the ones you can buy) are built in Zuffenhausen not Flacht. All that wording in the Brochure just implies that the Cup cars are also built in Zuffenhausen. Its the same assembly line as the 911 and Boxster/Cayman.
The race cars are built in Flacht. 919, RSR etc.
Great marketing spin though. It worked on you.

LOL. I would have bought the car regardless - the irony is I don’t even follow racing but love the feel of this car as a race car. It’s the closest street car I’ve ever driven to the open cockpit, open wheeled sequential manual transmission car I drove (Formula 2000) at the old Skip Barber Racing School at Lime Rock. A stretch for sure, but the smell, noise, mechanical feel of the car is like nothing else I’ve ever driven, and I’ve had many 911’s before though never a GT. I didn’t actually realize that the Cup cars are built in Zuffenhausen, so I got sucked in by inference! Do you think I can get an allocation for a new GT3 as settlement for this false advertising?
Here it is:
Porsche builds the new 911 GT3 Cup on the same production line at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen as the road-going 911. At the Motorsport Centre in Weissach, the race car gets a basic set-up for the circuits and is taken through its paces by a professional race driver. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the world’s most-produced and best-selling race car, with well over 2,600 units manufactured since 1998.

^Took a factory tour back in may and yes, the GT3 Cup is assembled at the Zuffenhausen facility (GT2RS Clubsport and GT4 Clubsport also). There is a dedicated rework area at which the body leaves the line for certain assembly steps and then goes back on the assembly line. While there also saw a 935 on the line...
The Cup cars are no longer sent to Weissach but to Manthey Racing for finishing work, pre-delivery inspection and delivery to teams. Learned about this during an event in September at which we were given an extensive tour of their various halls in the Meuspath industrial area. Manthey Racing being owned partly by Porsche not only handles the Cup Car completion, but also GT4 Clubsport completion and they actually operate the Porsche Works team GT racing activities for them...
GT3R and RSR are truly "Made in Flacht"...

Just a little trivia, the original 996 GT3 mk1 was actually made in Weissach (Porsche Motorsport Factory) or now better known as Flacht.
