Default gt3 exhaust vacuum Q

on the GT3 with PSE, when you push the PSE button ON in the cockpit and the LED comes on, is the vacuum turned OFF and the car goes a bit louder now ?
in another word, is the vacuum usually applied constantly when the engine is ON to keep the valve on a position to divert the gas to muffler on sides instead of straight to center muffler ?

still tinkering with IPE ext on new GT3… (trying to just disconnect the OEM vac lines from the PSE to keep it open/LOUDer all the time….

Yes. Actuators are spring loaded to keep valves OPEN. I.e. vacuum is needed to CLOSE them (and divert all gases through side mufflers and top entry of center muffler).

At idle should the exhaust note be different with pse on? I notice no diff at idle in my 19rs.

I think one of the valves must have come loose... Ok to drive till I have a chance to bring in? If came loose, that would leave it unplugged/capped, any ramifications?

With PSE on your exhaust should sound slighly different at idle but not becessarily so obvious. When you rev it a little it should be obvious. If one of the clamps was loose and it popped off it should be fine to drive but DRONE would be quite apparent.

Confirmed that driver side off and can’t get it back on myself... Line seems too short without enough play. I can drive without tip of line plugged?

im having problems with my valves too. 1.1 RS
i think they are faulty. the exhaust goes really loud and drones alot for no reason, then goes quiet.
then at low speeds again, its burbling alot. Just changes randomly. Not pressing the exhaust button.
Happens when the button is on & off just randomly.

I checked the lines underneath, both are very secure. everything else under there looks normal and tight.
Are these valves a common fail in general?

Faulty exhaust valve/s you guys think?

Does the exhaust respond to the console button at idle?

It does respond to the button on startup yes. But not in its usual way.
Its as if ONE of the valves is fautly.
Im going to try my best to get some comparison videos and post them. Thats the only way i will be able to support my claims. Its so hard to explain in text.
