What wound? I thought the GT3 Touring is the superior car according to the consensus on Rennlist

Good news is I got my photobook...bad news not single picture of finished interior and no CXX shots either. Excited and then bummed. First world problems.

GT Silver
Houndstooth Sofas
devaited stitch
painted air vent slats

Gave a very polite WTF to my SA who will do the same with Porsche. Fingers crossed that some better photos exist.

*Plot twist* All the photos are stock photos and colors are changed as needed in post-processing.

Sadly for folks like TBC63 that may look like a reality - pictures of what seems to be just the exterior of a standard (i.e. non-PTS) colored car is all he has to contemplate (and the lingering question is it really his personal car, or any other GT Silver GT3 that came off the line on a day PAG had commissioned a photographer).

I am sure the bulk of the excitement - and hence willingness to pay a decent penny for the book - was related to all the CXX items on the interior, which sounds are all missing. I would feel robbed...

^fully agree!

I think the regular production photos are cool but seeing the CXX options installed etc is what had me thinking about dropping $1800 EUR with my measly CAD. If I as granted PTS I would e done it. But would be thoroughly disappointed to get a book showing only standard production.

I doubt Porsche would risk opening themselves up to fraud by using stock photo's of standard color cars...I believe there was one photo of my VIN.
You are 100% on correct as to WHY I was excited to pay the freight...felt my CXX items were cool...HT Seats on 18 ways alone were almost 9k and included in that I could have done piping, leather choices, custom headrest etc. Not having any of those in photos would take my 10.5 bummed level to an 11.

All depends on what you spend for CXX options ...

$0 - $19,999.00. 0 pages
$20 - $39,999.00. 1 page
$40 - above. 2 pages

LOL. So true!

Porsche's argument would be if you spend less than 40K on CXX, there is not enough content to take pictures of anyways. It's 9k to customize your seat (that's one picture), another 8k to do custom door panels (another picture), 4k for painted wheels (another picture), etc etc.

Default How many pages in your photobook?

Mine has 20 pages, with last few mostly CXX stuff.

LOL...I’m still pissed about my book but moved on. It went back into its delivery box and I haven’t looked at it again.
The official, unofficial answer I received is you need a minimum of 5 CXX options to get photographed. No dollar amount was specified. If I ever ever try this again I’ll be way ahead on my Q&A.
