Default Weissach Carbon Steering Wheel Trim

I did a quick search but didn't find anything super current.

My WP RS should be delivered in the next week. Are current Weissach cars shipping with the carbon steering wheel trim and paddles? If not, is it in writing somewhere that Porsche will send the parts and swap them out at a later date?

Thanks for any info!

Mine came with carbon paddles, but plastic horrid standard steering wheel trim. I have nothing in writing. I'll make a stop by the dealer in a few days to put it in writing or on notice, and call PCNA to enter a claim.

Thanks for the info.

Did anyone notify you that it wouldn't be delivered without the carbon trim?

Kind of annoying / a nuisance to find out at delivery.

My understanding is they are all being delivered with the carbon paddles and none so far are arriving with the carbon steering wheel trim. My experience with this ordering process and car has been far from stellar when considering this is a $1/4M car. If mine ever gets released from port I’ll be able to formally report back on what has arrived with the car.

The cars are delivered WITHOUT the CF wheel.....they anticipate parts to start becoming available towards the end of the first qtr of 2019

Thx for the info.

Did your dealer confirm that they'll swap the parts on when they come in?

I hope that the swap is an easy job, as I am not super excited about local dealer replacing steering wheel , not because I don't trust them, but I don't like playing around with new cars
