Default new rs on way.... 2 questions
got a 19rs coming. 2 questions. we can seem to get/order roll bar from porsche. I want green . where is good? bbi? RSS? want a nice one. second I have new side fvd that were for 997. I heard they will fit 991 as well? thx

Can't go wrong with offerings from BBi, Cantrell, and GMG, and I imagine all of them can do a custom color for you.

Rahal Performance is doing mine...

Lizard Green roll cage... foregoing the harnesses... wanted it to look like its European relative.

I got a Competition Motorsports one. Prefer to have harness mount closer to seat back and they make it from docol r8 which is supposed to be a better material than 4130. Was also a great price last month. They custom paint in house.

What's the point of a roll bar if you're not installing harnesses?

Because the true GT3RS European spec has the roll cage, but no harnesses... something about our US laws..

At least that is my understanding.

Would certainlly be nice to be able to purchase the oem cage. The M4 gts has the cage and even though the Euro seats do not come with the car they are available for purchase.

not correct. when you order the WP or the CS pack you get a harness for the driver. whether you install it or not is up to you.

Note, there are subtle differences between the Porsche RS Schroth harness mountings than the same used in a normal ( ie race car) , they are not interchangeable as I found.
