I'm not a fan of the silver colored door pulls and steering wheel trim on the .1 cars. My car has the anthracite trim package and that brite silver just looks out of place with it. I had Daniel make me some replacement trim in matte CF. I'm very happy with the results as DB's CF work is excellent. I will say though the install of that steering wheel trim is not for the faint of heart.
We just manufactured one, but with leather sides and thicker made all around on custom request.
Same possible in any Alcantara colour, just like the special version Alcantara shift **** we made a few times on custom projects...
Your shift **** with red stitching is what's missing in my Touring, can you send a test sample for me to try out for say a year?
BTW can the shift **** be made shorter and make the throw even shorter?
Very easy, screwed on the door panels from rear side with a few torx screws - we deliver them as an full mounted unit ready to exchange easily, not just the pulls.
Nice. What's your turn around time after receiving our steering wheel and price to add the top and bottom
We don´t need your steering wheel, the OEM base parts are ever included at us - easier and more effective... You can keep your OEM steering wheel for later use or can use our OEM parts return program for an refund or credit after.
Took my guy about 20 minutes a door but he had pulled main door panels off before so he knew the procedure. After watching I'd say pulling those panels is about the same difficulty as pulling the rear bumper. DB sends you an entire new latch assembly so replacing the door handle itself is very straight forward.
The steering wheel was more difficult as that trim is not designed to come off and Porsche has nothing in their manuals on how to do it.
