Default Parcel Shelf Anchor Points -- strength rating for luggage -- or just "decoration"?

Assuming they are not solely for show, does anyone know strength rating on these things? For actual luggage, or...? (Why else would Porsche bother to put them in?)

Looking to secure dog seat belt in the rear for trips around town, when my better half takes the co-pilot seat up-front.

I am aware of the threads asking if these are for harness or child seats, which clearly isn't the case.
I am curious how they compare to similar anchor points in the backs of wagons or SUVs?

Looking a bit further -- the luggage tie-down seem a bit more substantial. Tied in to the bodywork it looks like:

Default If that were beefed up,

It looks like it could make the base for a harness bar or eyelet. That would be a nice alternative (for some of us less serious trackers) to the full jungle gym set-up and still allow a 6 pt. harness. I did something similar w/ an E36 M3 back in the day.

Those are the child seat top latch points so I sure hope they don't just pull out.

Bingo! Looked up the Carrera manual online. I think I can trust the LATCH attachment points for my 50 lbs Lab! Thank you.

(And no I didn’t drop the engine for this. Lol. That was a friend’s for reasons other than dog safety research.).
