TPC, any chance you could could provide more info in the air intake modification?? Also, a short video of how the mod works when removing the intake.
I know I would greatly appreciate it and think other GT2RS owners would also. I had my 1st oil change this past summer and the thought of the dealer removing the rear bumper at every oil change is just asking for trouble.
Thank you!!

If you're doing yourself, it's very easy to overfill. Add 7 and then a little more at a time while the sensor picks up the level.
Really touchy the Oil level gauge on these cars.

If I had a dream, it would be a dipstick and a Manual handbrake on all 911's forever!

I haven't seen anyone else chime in on this, so I thought I would give my experience. I had my dealer do the first free service with oil change after 2000 miles before taking the car to the track last fall and watched the whole process. We were able to remove the rear carbon fiber plate without taking off the rear bumper. This allowed us to get the right intake duct off with some patience. I also modified the right side intake duct clips as they show in the images on this thread to make it easier to get off and access to the oil filter. With the modification the duct is more than stable, and still very difficult to get off, and even more difficult to get back on without removing the carbon fiber plate. On the next oil change this year I will try to remove and replace the intake duct without removing the carbon fiber plate, but it might end up being easier to just remove the carbon fiber plate and not struggle with the clips though.

Also of note the yearly recommended service includes replacing the water spray system filters and performing a Water Spray System Drive Link Test (from the PIWIS 3). There are two in the front trunk, part number 9P3 819 619 I believe.

I'm hoping to take some pictures and maybe even a video on the next service sometime this fall, and will try to post it.

Yeah, replied in another thread... The CF engine cover is very easy to remove, 10min job, so I wouldn't attempt to remove the modified snorkel without taking it off. I have the torque specs somewhere. The modification is pretty simple and could agree more that it is still extremely snug and I have zero worry of it moving. The lengthy oil change is now down to 30min and no rear bumper / air can removal.
