Default PTS availability

My GT3 Touring build locks on 12/15. Dealer tells me PTS is available. I know very little about the PTS process and need to do some research. Current estimated delivery is mid-March. How long will PTS normally delay delivery? Would it be an additional 6 months? I saw in another post that 2019 991.2 GT3 production is only through Feb. If that is correct, do you think that would impact delivery time (for the better)?

Any guidance or insights on the whole PTS thing would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

If the pts window is open, I'd have your bild submitted today if I were you. That said, I haven't heard the window is open so that is news.

My understanding is, no more PTS slots for 991.2 GT3. If this is indeed true, getting it submitted ASAP would be a good idea. With respect to a later delivery date, you’d have to check with your SA. I hope you get PTS. I really wanted a slot but wasn’t able to find one.

Eduardo is right: The PTS process is broken.

On my order, I've got over 50 (!) "Rescheduled" notations, causing delay after delay.

The PTS order and scheduling procedures should be an utter embarrassment to Porsche.

False alarm gentlemen. Atlanta tells me no PTS on the 2019 991.2 production run. Yachting Blue would have been pretty cool on a Touring . . .

I have a locked 2019 PTS Touring and C5Driver does as well. There may not be any allocations left but there will definitely be at least a handful of PTS 2019 GT3s.

Interesting. I’m surprised they haven’t emailed me as they know I’m into Tourings and PTS, and have emailed me past Tourings that have come their way. Maybe working their way through the people that are willing to pay more than me

Probably just as well as I have 2019 non-PTS (Agate) Touring coming. Could be a tough decision.

Can confirm, PTS is not available for any more GT3s. Gave up my allocation after getting hyped up and let down. I know it's a great car, just not how I wanted to build it at that point. I'll buy something else used, too many nice car options and more coming on market. Love manuals, just not a "must have", if it was, I'd have bought on.

Mine will be a winged PTS!

Have you seen evilfij’s PTS Touring registry?
