Standard interior on GT3 Touring?

I had two hang ups with leather. One, I hate the hard finish Porsche leather. I find it cheap feeling/looking and natural leather is not available in a GT3 for anything like a reasonable price. Two, long term, the rubber/plastic stuff I think we be easier to maintain and look better in 25 years. Plus, spares should be easier to come by.
And yes, I’d be happy to have one with no interior.

My nearly 25 year old 993 has full leather and it is still in fantastic shape; looks nicer than the ones I've been in without it but I think there's a much more substantial difference with the 991. The 991 interior looks like crap without full leather. The difference between my Touring with full leather and my previous 991 without it is eye-popping. Get the alcantara sun visors and cover the steering column with leather while you're at it.

Shocks me how gung ho people can be on leather interiors in the racecar part of this porsche forum. They could take the panels off the doors, remove the dashboard and not paint the car...I am still buying a GT because the point of this car has nothing to do with the interior or exterior paint. Pull your head out of the sand.

The great thing is that Porsche has made it possible so that you can spec these cars really anyway you like. So don’t worry about what anyone else says and get what YOU like.
With that being said, there are plenty of other manufacturers (Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini) that also build “race cars” for the road and they manage to give those vehicles a proper interior. I don’t feel it’s right that a 150k+ sports car should be optioned with a 30k car interior but different strokes
I will say that everything else being equal, GT3’s on the used market with full leather and alcantara interiors command a premium.
