Believe it or not, in the Car Manual I was reading the manual transmission has a Launch Control. I am very curious to investigate this further once I am in the coveted 9,000 Club.
Actually, the ride as far as comfort was similiar to the Turbo S. I felt very comfortable in the 200 miles I put on the car. Another friends 997.1 GT3 with LWBs had a horrible ride. I rode 200 miles in it and never again. The passenger seat had NO adjustment. Not for me. The 991.2 GT3 is unique in every way.
Yes, I will be interested to see how Launch Control and Flatfoot shift work on the P-Cars. I have had in other makes with manuals and these features but not all of them were good.

I put 10K miles on my Turbo S in (2) months this year with the "Sofas" and several thousand more in my wife's 981 GTS they are very comfortable for me. I have no interest at all in the buckets.

10K miles in 2 months is incredible. Your Dealer must love you. tires, oil changes, plugs (maybe), big congrats!
i admit it is a fantastic road car and highly respected by the Rice Burners and Muscle Cars. They all know about this beast and keep their distance.
i am excited to see if the GT3 gets the same deference among the hot shots.

As for the mileage yes roughly 5,500 of those were from One Lap and the other miles were scouting for OLOA 2018 and some other shenanigans. So yes they did indeed have a nice service ticket at my 30K visit.

Yep, I am muscle car guy who was secretly a ricer and fell into the siren call of the European cars. We have had nearly 50 car from 18 different manufactures and keep coming back to P-Cars.

Nice pic..
i need to put on a measly 1300 miles. I am racking my brain on ways to get these break in miles quickly, like yesterday, lol.
Your mileage is quite impressive. Hopefully this weekend I ll put on 200 miles.
i by chance got the Dunlaps as opposed to the Michelins.
i hope they are just as good. My buddies have the Michliens except Carmen's .2 RS with HUGE Dunlaps.
Any clue on the pros and cons of the Dunlaps vs the Michelins?

Kenny will do a great job on the wrap. I hope you get it back in time but it will be hard to beat you at the concours! Sebring was fun but now I have a weekend of track grime to get off before Saturday! Lol, not my sweet spot! Will tell you about Sebring when I see you.*

Your car is far superior to mine Buddy. The statuture of the 991.2 RS has such presence. I WILL vote for you on Saturday in the Peoples Choice awards.
I hope Kenny finishes the wrap by Friday. He said today it may be done on Thurs after it dries in the sunshine for a few hours.
See you Saturday morning at our meeting spot at 8 am. We will all shoot the breeze for 20-30 minutes and head on to Burton Park for the Concours and Barbecue. Can't wait to hear the scoop on your first Sebring Event with the new car.

i loved my 1971 240Z. I got many looks and stares. In those days it was a poor mans XKE with that great straight 6 Cyl Engine with 151 HP. The young ladies loved the color and the car! lol
It truly was a great car, had power, was light and fast for its time.
Being from CT I frequented Bob Sharps Datsun Store for upgrades. Sharp and Paul Newman were buddies.
When I met my wife (of 39 years) in 1978 I was into Corvettes and had a Canary Yellow 1976 Vette bought new in CT.
MADE A HUGE MISTAKE one night in April 1995.
I stopped into Tischer Porsche in Silver Spring, MD. I had a fairly new 1994 Vette at the time. There was a Guards Red brand new off the truck 993 on the lot and the salesman about begged to take it out for a drive. My first tine in a COVETED 911,, omg.
The salesman came with and explained the nuiances of the 911 and the rear engine, Air Cooled, etc.
i was HOOKED for life.
i drove home that night Vefte-less with my beautiful 993. I loved the basket handle on top of the engine cover. I never bought or considered a Corvette again, guess we all move on in life.
My wife LOVED the 993.
PORSCHE, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE,, “how true”
