Which one is a better deal? This one or a CPO 2015, 20k miles, with Axle Front Lift, Sport Chrono and Sound Plus? I know I can get the CPO 2015 for $120k. The one you listed was just lowered from $128k yesterday. I am not sure if they will be willing to drop another $5k

Thank you Sir. I actually did see this one and inquired about it. Unfortunately, it doesn't have Sport Chrono, PDLS, nor Sound plus.

If the car is solid/clean, a few $K either way won’t make a difference. I would much rather own a CPO car from a Porsche dealer than buying from a used car dealer(non-pcar). Also, it may/may not help with future deals.
Good luck.

The CPO 2015 GT3 sounds good if it is the color you want. You get the CPO and the additional 100K warranty. My 15 GT3 was flawless.

Looking at your garage. I think we may have exchanged messages before. Thank you for the response.

To be honest if the car has all the options and clean the price will reflect this/
And when i was looking last year and the prices were up there..thats what swayed me and i found a 18 speccable car...
for 30 to 40 more in cost ...that includes adm.
if no adm 15 to 30K.
Good luck!

When I bought my GTS I had to make a pros and cons list for each car I was looking at and had to choose which car had the options I wanted the most.
I live a few miles from HGregLux so can always look at the car for you. Also, for the PPI, I highly recommend Foreign Affairs which is only a few miles from the dealership.
I was going to buy my GTS here but wife veto'ed the Lava Orange color.

From what I understand Sport Chrono does nothing on the GT3 (it's just a clock on the dash and timer) and most people use an app for a lap timer. Sound Plus is something I could live without esp if it is not a daily driver. As far as CPO. A good PPI and you can also purchase an extended warranty for about $4500. A CPO car will cost more too.

How long do you want to hold the car? If short term, you will lose 15-20K on a 991.1 GT3 in the next 2-3 years if bought at 120K.
Is it a second car just for weekends or track? You might want to look at 2014 or 15 Turbo S if a DD at around $ 125K - dependent on miles, as the depreciation curve is now lessened and it can be driven everyday and also tracked - more versatile car.........no bucket seats and you get more optional stuff standard (especially on 2017 on)
GT3 do hold better than other 911s, but since Porsche is not waiting as long to come out with new models of the GT3 and producing higher numbers, they eventually DO depreciate...even the 991.2, although if you want to gamble, that the new GT3 is a Turbo, they might hold value a bit longer regardless of transmission choice........

All good points...
Out of all 3 of those cars, what would you rather drive? Which one would you rather have 2-3 years down the road?
Now if I don't care and want my 991.1 fix now, what's the real market price for a 2015 car? Everything I've seen is overpriced. Might have to revert to old school 997.2 GT3...

hey guys I'm gonna jump on this bandwagon here...I'm not one of those "oh I gotta have the latest and greatest" kind of guys, nor do I care about how collectible the car is.
I'm looking to get the *most* 911 for the dollar. I have owned a 40th anniversary edition since 2009 and am happy that it would sell today (after I have put over 50,000 miles on it) for about what I bought it for.
I'm making a lot more money these days than when I bought that first 911, but the 996 and 997 GT3 are so over-priced in my opinion. I was a die-hard manual fan until I drove a 991.1 GT3 on track and found the PDK to be pretty great, after all.
The CPO 991.1 GT3 is looking like a heck of a deal. The 2014 engine warranty is nice touch too. Are there limitations on that warranty? Track use covered?

There have been no issues with warranty coverage after tracking these cars. So you get the 10 year, 120k mile engine warranty and the car costs $70-100k less than the .2. Seems like a no brainer imo.
