I like Chalk, but think I may get tired of it over time, maybe as a trendy color. GT Silver, in my view, is a timeless classic.

I would say chalk. Yes, this type of color could be considered trendy (the matte look), but it isn't flashy or anything. It is pretty low key and classy looking (not like a matte blue, no offence to those who have it).

I may get some hate for this, but I absolutely hate silver cars and would never buy one. I just think silver is so boring and hides everything. From far away, a silver 911 gets as much attention as a silver Camry for me. Maybe that's what people like.

GT Silver. No comparison. Chalk looks good on many cars, but not an RS, imo.

You don't get silver on an RS. You go for something loud, and in somewhat contradictory fashion, chalk is the loud version of silver.

They both look really good on the RS and also with Weissach. Really can't go wrong with this car I like GT silver myself , and really hate chalk on any other car but having seen it in person it really looks good in the flesh

I think GT suits a GTS very well. What you are looking for on an RS is a one dimensional colour.

Lol I love colour discussions. Subjective much?

Ultraviolet. Oh sorry, was that not a choice?

Chalk is polarizing. I am one of those who loves it. Had GT silver on my last car which was a TTS; suited that car really well and was my 2nd choice on the GT3 but in the end I wanted to do a different color.

A neighbor friend of mine just got a chalk RS with gold wheels and I think it suits the car perfectly whereas silver would have been boring IMO.

I’d say the exact opposite. Chalk is the quiet, unassuming, looking at its shoes in the corner, version of GT Silver.

My 991.1 RS looked freaking amazing in GTS. It will maintain its classic looks for years to come. My new LG one will probably get old looking in a few years and I wish ordered in GTS!

I have to agree, except that Chalk is anything BUT loud. Chalk is a muted color, sedate, understated, stiff upper lip James kind of color, a muted version of beige if that is even possible.. Between the two choices GT silver definitely makes more noise.

GT Silver popular, classic—yes. But extremely common. Sure, maybe it’s the safer bet for resale. But don’t you want to stand out if you get an RS.

While not not a huge fan of chalk, it’s certainly less like everyone else, interesting and can look great with the right accents, especially the black bits on an RS, so it would also look great with black wheels, black door handles, black side stripes, and black PORSCHE logotype on the wing. For a more muted look, you could do light grey matte decals instead of black and platinum grey wheels.
