Was it my imagination or was there a thread with an interesting letter from Porsche about extension of gt3 and gt2rs production? Did I imagine it?

Are you thinking of the thread about the 7 or 8 PTS cars? I think that only applied to dealers in the Los Angels area?

Porsche extended production into Jan-feb just to feed a few dealers in LA? Doubtful.

I can't find the thread either. I know it seems doubtful but some GM in Los Angeles shared the letter from Porsche. CJ Wilson that i was wrong to share that letter. But it was only a handful of PTS cars. Maybe someone can find that thread?

Glad to hear production extending into 2019. No way Porsche is going to make 7 or 8 total 2019 gt3/gt2rs. I'm guessing there were 7 or 8 pts in that SoCal region included in whatever larger batch of 2019's coming. But there are plenty more than 7-8 2019's coming. Maybe I'm wrong. Time will tell.

Edit: As a matter of fact, i remember a sentence mentioning "in general, pts is not being offered for the 2019 production extension". The 7 or 8 is a limited batch w/in the Jan-feb production extension.

Maybe the mods deleted the thread because some of the brokers on here pinged them because that adversely effected their ability to get max ADM?

Sad but true.

The "memo" shown was only for the Los Angeles region. I assume all regions in the USA will get some bones. There will be 2019 GT3's built. Same as they did in 2016 with 991.1 GT3. Lower numbers, but still more cars.
