A salvage or branded title stays with the car forever and kills value.
Not sure any insurance company would even insure it, and good luck getting a loan on it.
Just want to make an important distinction. Salvage vs. branded is apples and oranges. I've owned several "branded" titled cars from California. California has the most ridiculous "lemon laws" and a car can be "lemon lawed" for the most innocuous "issue", like squeaky brakes. I had no problem getting loans and or insuring them. I also sold them privately without issue for 3-5% below non-branded market prices. Effectively a wash, as I purchased below market initially.

Salvage is an entirely different ballgame.
Yes true to that. A lot of people get the 2 mixed up. At least for Texas, insurance is no problem for rebuilt title cars.
Looks like the car is still not sold. Ran for in an auction and they didn't sell it. Apparently, they want 120k for it.
