Someone reached out to me about trading my winged manual GT3 in viola 3ae for their yet to be delivered touring. Thoughts? Non PTS touring but has PCCB and LWB.
been stalking some tourings on line and the look is now finally appetizing to me lol
Crazy idea?
p.s.
my car is not for sale. Ever. Unless you want to trade me your 997 4.0 or a CGT
I don't think many people have a foot in both the winged and non-winged camp and you're either all in or all out. I'm certainly in the "a GT car needs a wing" camp so I'd never consider a trade to a touring, whether or not PTS was involved.

I would only trade my winged manual for a new touring if it was available for Euro Delivery (then I would in a minute).

Aside from no PTS, if the specs align it might be worth considering... but then I'm 100% bias towards GT non-wingers.
I can't imagine parting with it. I'm very sentimental about cars I personally order. it was a fun [sic] process of PTS shenanigans and cxx. but the wingless cars are starting to tickle my fancy lol
I personally wouldn't, but the only reason why we should own these GT cars IMO is to be enjoyed (not collected or flipped etc). If you think you'll enjoy the touring more than the wing, no reason why you shouldn't go for it. But if I was in your shoes I wouldn't, I really like your unique/understated/elegant PTS spec. The wing is part of what makes the GT3 look & feel like an occasion when in the driver's seat along with the buckets, noises, and of course engine. Just my 2 cents! Keep us posted with what you decide.
