Default GT Car Heaven

I’ve never seen this level of cars available granted they’re used or just potential flips. Many have asked for the supply to rain from the heavens, and I think that time is here. This is an example of many want what they can’t have, and once they get it .....it’s just another thing. The .1GT cars were driven a lot more and enjoyed, but this batch of cars Porsche has released a slew of options ...GT3, GT3RS, manual, GT2RS, Touring, and more to come which has led to a kennel of cars. It’s like when the 101 Dalmatians movie came out every kid wanted the cute dog, and weeks later they were all in the kennel because the excitment was gone. There are great cars go enjoy them, and save money on the full condom wraps, paint corrections because it’s moot because they will just sit in the kennel waiting for a home. Happy Saturday going for a drive.

Incoming GT3RS's cause spike in used availability of last week's cat's meow, maybe?

Yup, IMO it's evolving into a buyers market.

Get out and drive it, folks!

I too am quite surprised. Seems like the .1 frenzy days are not the same for the .2. Specially for the .2RS.

I am now having serious second thoughts on upgrading my MSRP '14 .1 to a .2RS @ any ADM. Perhaps I am in the same boat as others on the side line. I have a .1 which is plenty fast and doesn't look way different from new, and it is almost paid off!

Im in the same boat. I posted on another thread about me contemplating upgrading my .1 to a .2 RS. There is virtually no difference in the cars and I just cant justify the financial hit to upgrade.

All those people on the sidelines complaining about not being able to get allocations- there are so many cars to choose from. Just go buy one and drive it.

Most GT3 991.2 are still near, at or over $200k advertised. One at $175k and one at $185k.

Thats still big money when the sticker starts at $145k.

Agreed. Just have to power through the "shiny new object fascination" phase. If I had a .1 RS I'd only have made the jump if the delta was reasonable at 20k or less.

There were 47 GT3.2's available from Porsche Centre's in the UK last time I looked, that's probably 15-25% of all the GT3's to be sold in the UK.

Yeah - me too. But delta is more like 50k. now worth it for me.

^^ Not the .1RS.

The performance difference is absolutely not worth the $$ to go from
.1RS to .2RS

20HP, refined PDK and RWS are claimed.
The diffuser and springs bolt right on the .1
A set of 19” Hoosiers and springs will be faster then Ian .2RS
And no UV available

991.1 GT3 (not RS) have a 10yr or 120kmi warranty on internal engine components. So most are covered to 2025 depending on in service date.

I am on my 3rd .1 GT3 motor, and still part of the 120,000-mile no questions asked Porsche replacement motor warrranty program.

Prices at still above MSRP for now.......car is still in demand but when you shell out almost 200K you want certain specs, colors, transmission combinations and can hold out a bit since flippers are impatient.........and the right one may come along that you like...........
