I placed two orders with Matt and Obsessed Garage. I ordered Jescar Correcting Compound and Meguiars Cutting Discs for my paint detailing project. We all know Matt is a great guy so i just wanted to share my positive experience. Everything went out the same day and came packaged properly. There was tape around the Jescar bottle to ensure it didn’t leak. Also got shipping updates along the way. His dad is handling the shipping and is definitely on top of things. Pretty professional operation.

I have ordered from Matt and been impressed with the attention to details, such as tapping the screw tops to liquid sprays to prevent leaking during shipping and applying tape to the threads of connectors. highly recommend his online store.

Unfortunately, they just nickeled and dimed me, leaving me with less than a positive impression. I sent a coupling back which was not functioning as I expected. I was first chastised for sending it back, then told once they received it that it was fine and I can get it back by paying for shipping. Hmmm, not what I would call obsessed customer service. I have spent around $2000 with OG and this was not cool. They beat me up for $10.27c shipping to get back a component that did not perform as smoothly as it should. You decide if that is cool.

Great store and Matt curated some awesome stuff from the market and I’m more than happy to give him my money for his exhaustive testing and research.
Don’t join the FB group though, it’s a little too much haha.
Also, look into the hex program if you’re about to make some large purchases.

He helped me tremendously in the beginning, but where he's at now I just can't relate or frankly tolerate. I'll still buy from him when it's something he sells, I just can't watch how I used to.

I still "respect the source", mostly
. He still makes videos on the products he sells and I believe he is pretty honest in his assessments. Yes, its now a business but he puts huge effort into providing information on and supporting the products he sells - which to me at least still separates OG from their competitors.

I don’t see how you can blame the guy for making it into a business. Good for him, doing something he loves and is successful at. And I like that he still puts out detailed videos on the products he uses.
