It should be fun, I'm smiling while I type....

A bigger concern is why was your brain was out to lunch while you were buying it. Had it notified you that as the odometer goes up the value goes down, you could have avoided buying it.

Honestly, if you don't like value threads, don't read them.

It is no secret that GT cars hold value well (and some increase dramatically). It is also no secret that it would be nice if the value of our vehicles increase just like any other asset. Thus people like to talk about it and speculate. Nothing wrong with that. Don't like it, don't read it. I think some of them are quite interesting.

Hell, most of the "value threads" are comprised of posts saying "oh geez, another value thread?" drowning out any good posts.

I think the most annoying threads are people who use the main forum area to sell their goods. There's a Marketplace forum for that.

Bought mine with 9.3k miles in November of 2017, currently it has 17.6k miles as of August. So I'll easily do more than 10k miles in a year

seriously though it’s my daily driver and on the way home I take a daily detour through the twisties.

Mooty...does your wife know about the content of your posts? LOL! ED is a bucket list item for me! Dream is to do it with a new RS. Chances of that happening are slim at best!

OK...I'll play.

Bought my 2015 991.1 GT3 last August with a little over 7000 miles on the odometer. The car was sitting in the previous owner's garage for a year. I found a rat's nest next to the battery compartment..

Since the purchase, I've:
- done 9 track weekends (over 2,000 track miles)
- broke 2 windshields
- used up 5 sets of Pilot Sport Cup 2's.
- used up one set of front rotors
- cracked one of the front rotors on my second set...and onto Girodiscs
- used up 2 sets of OEM front pads and 1 set of OEM rear pads....now onto 2nd set of Ferodo DS1.11
- getting the front lip replaced this week
- had to replace the rear brake cooling vents...not sure how I ripped that out.
- Odometer is about to be 17,000 miles...it's my daily driver that I take to work everyday!!

LOVE this car !!!!
