They’re numbers seem quite low.

What did you search for? The search app shows a total of 186 2016 GT3's and 24 cars with this spec:
model 991 GT3 3.8
body Coupe
year 2016
country United States
transmission PDK
exterior color Sapphire Blue Metallic N1

I understand you’re realising these statistics to drive traffic to your used car portal but could you at least let us know where you get your data and how accurate the numbers are? These are not official Porsche numbers and seem to be just a speculation. I did see you mention “Experian estimated number” in your FAQ.

That is certainly a very fair question. But we are a specialty brokerage business not a media company. Our sources and methods for amalgamating our data are proprietary. And we would never share them with competitors. So you can believe the data or not.

But I can say two things.

1. We are known for our historical production data and its accuracy ... revealing historical build data on rare air cooled Porsches in the days before Porsche ever publicly did (reference flachbau.com and rareporsches.com and cbaporsche.com).

2. the most educated people in the business (auction houses, publications, and advertisers etc.) use us as a reference for actual production numbers and build specs and more ... referencing our websites - and, to be honest with you, we are ripped off for our data without our acknowledgement all the time and all over the web ... but what are you going to do? Case in point, even the most educated thought there were only 157 997 GT3RS 4.0 built for North America ... until we found #158 an outlier owned by Jerry Seinfeld that no one knew about. Now everyone says there are 158 but they could never prove it if taken to task ... but guess what? We can.

So you have owner based info for each car in the data base?

Many, but certainly not all. There are ownership changes everyday and data takes time to update. Some cars are hidden behind corporations. More cars than you would think have left North America so are not of interest. And there are salvage and other dispositions that we dont track because we will not represent those cars.

I can say there 8,000+ plus owners in our database and we 1/2 dozen ways to vector owner data if they are not in the database currently.

So PCNA has some way to figure out if a client has sold their car, even if there is not a transaction through Porsche financial. Is there access to title information for each client?

I won’t say publicaly I was right. I’m too modest.

Pors9 hasn’t provided yet a valid source for their numbers, why are you guys falling for it?

Our data has nothing to do with PCNA.
