Default DIY lumbar support for LWB

I felt my buckets needed a bit more lumbar support after a 50 mile drive this morning.
so, had left over memory foam--1'' thick pad
back seat peals right off from velcro
pretty easy DIY from pictures and very happy with support now
retains factory look to!

it just did...not a surface chemist by trade, but when I threw the foam pad on it, it just held in place lol

Lumbar support is terrible in the LWB. Might have to try this!

They need to make LWB Sofas now - have the racing seat look with all the adjustments lol. Sure they will weigh 50 lbs more but who cares.

This was suggested back a while and I installed it. Can't claim credit for it. It works. Adjustable.

It is placed behind the seat cushion, in the same way as the OP describes placing the memory foam.

Orientation is hose connection to the lower outside.

I used a 1” x 2” piece of hook-side Velcro stuck to the top edge of the bladder against the seat back. This is enough to secure it behind the cushion and get the position exact for me so it hits me in the curve.

I ran the hose and bulb through the opening in the corner and it sits happily between the seat rail and the door sill. I just reach down to squeeze to add some air, or twist the release to soften it.

In my last GT3 I just stuffed towels back there until it felt good. Crude but effective.

ya I tried that first with a bunch of hand towels--but then got screamed at by the woman. apparently we aren't supposed to use $40 hand towels for "stupid car stuff."
