Hi,
So I brought this up in the GT3RS thread but since then the issue has become more confusing, at least for me, so I thought I would start a thread so that maybe members who might have access to this information can clarify this issue once and for all.
During a recent meeting with Exclusive, I mentioned that I wanted the Aurum colored wheels for my PTS GT2RS as opposed to the White Gold ones. So I asked if the 991.2 GT3RS wheels were the same size as the GT2RS ones, that way I wouldn't have to CXX them and could just buy a second GT3RS set to swap into. At that time I was told that there were very small differences in offsets between the two models' wheels, so I went ahead and just CXXed the Aurum.
Since then I have asked one parts dept who has told me that the fronts are the same but the rears have a small offset difference, and I also just got an email reply from Suncoast to the same inquiry and they told name the two models have identically sized wheels.
So between exclusive and two dealerships I have gotten three different answers.![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Now I know that obviously the model stamp on the wheels will be different, but if anyone either already knows, or has access to this information, please let us know because I'm sure that many folks would like to know it what the facts are ... not a best guess, but the actual data.
On a personal level, if they are identically sized, I will rescind my CXX request, order the standard black wheels for my GT2RS, and buy a spare set of 3RS Aurum wheels to swap into ... I still end up paying around $5k more but I get two sets of wheels instead of one.
Thanks a bunch.

Thanks!
So identical wheels, but you cant easily swap out GT3RS and GT2RS wheels because the model stamp on them.
Do both the aluminum and Magnesium have the model stamp on both the GT2RS and GT3RS?
Soulsea, maybe just get the no charge wheel color and later change them much cheaper to any color you like?
On my 997GT3RS I went red, white gold, silver and white. Its easier to decide what's perfect to your taste driving it around a couple weeks and change your mind :-)
