Peter, that should be the 'Narrow' the 'Wide' 335 will not be available until late September, early October.
I'm waiting for them as well, I think they should work even better. Once i've gone through the 'narrow' 335, I'll swap.
Also, I believe the 'narrow' 305 will fit on the front of the RS... I plan to try that in January when my car arrives. The Narrow 305 is really more like a 285... so could be perfect!
Only thing missing is A7's... I don't stay out long enough to benefit R7's... I'm 5 laps or so max... and then come in.
Best Regards,
Dave

Just spoke with Johnny Miller at trackdaytire.com - very helpful. He is out of the 335 "narrow" rears but is expecting a shipment of the 305/30zr20 "wide" version next Tuesday.
Also, I'm old enough to remember what happened with the original "DOT-race" tires. Before SCCA weighed in, there were race tires and street tires. To keep costs down, SCCA mandated street tires for certain classes, which raised the question as to "what is a street tire?" They decided that a DOT-designated legal street tire was a street tire, which is why these companies started building very sticky tires that are still street legal like the hoosiers (most extreme). Anyone else remember the BFG R1s we all ran 20 years ago?
The Hoosier R7s and A7s are street legal tires, period. They are steel belted. They have a treadware rating and meet DOT standards. For comparison, most, though not all, slicks are bias ply, which enables a much stiffer sidewall construction.
If you think slicks and R7s are the same thing, that tells me you've never driven a car with slicks.

EarlierApex, great update... and I was just about to confirm the same, the 'wide version' 305 are now available/shipping this week. The 335 Wide version is scheduled for the end of this month, I've ordered a set and will confirm once received, right now Hoosier is stating realistically to expect the 335 Wide version by first week of October.
TRAKCAR, 345's are available in a 19" but doesn't look as though any plans to go larger than the the 335 Wide in the 20" size. What's interesting, is when comparing the 345 19" R7 width to the 335 (Wide) 20" width... the 20" tire looks like it may actually be wider than the current 19" 345... section width of 14.2" for the 20" and 14.1" for the 19".
EarlierApex... so funny to hear you speak about BFG R1's... I was a contract driver for BFG from 1995 to 1998... and raced in the Viper Challenge Series on those R1's... man that was a handful!
I'll post up pics once I get them.. though I plan to finish off the 335 Narrow set I have at the event end of August, and am looking to adding the 'Wide' version once my RS arrives in January.
Best Regards,
Dave

ACK!! Didn't know when the wide 305 would be available, so I just ordered a new set of MPSC's for an upcoming Road America DE. Oh well. There's always the next DE.
Thanks for the update!

Palting, next DE event for sure! The wide 305 is 'hot off the presses' just started to ship today.
TrakCar, I think that's a great combination for wheel stagger! Be curious how she performs... I'll post back when I've confirmed delivery of the Wide 335.
Best Regards,
Dave

I have the 20 inch 245 fronts and new wide 305 rears for my 991.2 GT3. The 305’s fit fine on my 12” forgeline rears but don’t seem quite as wide as my 305 MPSC2’s. Regardless I really like the tires and the extra grip over the cup 2’s. It would be great if a 315 width were available in the future.
