Rossa Corsa is an iconic Italian racing color that goes way back in history.....lighting has a lot to do how it looks in pics.....obviously an approved PTS color

"Rosso" Corso.

While Ferrari's "Racing Red" title is certainly iconic - nearly everybody has their own idea of it - it is not just lighting that affects its apparent shade. It's because there is not one single official color as there are many different shades of it over the decades.

Yes sir! Porsche offers it as PTS Y81.
Here is a photo of the .2 GT3 in Rosso Corsa paired with a Lamborhini red and a Ferarri red. The farthest car is a Lava Orange .1 GT3RS.

You are so right. The Rosso Corsa looks different in different lighting.
Here are variants of the same car in differing lighting conditions.

Very cool spec, and unique PTS color. I personally can't tell the difference with GR, but I am sure there are nuanced subtleties you need to see in person to appreciate & hard to capture with photos

Enjoy in good health, great combo with the .1 3RS

Thank you! They are truly two different cars and handle very differently. One thing I have observed is that every one that I have given a ride in the RS and the .2 GT3 seem to favor the .1 RS for some reason.

That's easy, the RS has more eye ball, big spoilers etc. I actually preferred my .1RS to my .2GT3. I pretraded the RS for A '19 RS. They make a great pair.

Beautiful car. I noticed the photos with the red lambo and Ferrari.

however, if you can sometime post a picture of your Rossa Corsa .2 GT3 next to a Guards Red 991 GT3 or 911, I think people would be particularly interested in that photo.

Thanks, and congrats on your car.

When I find someone with a GR 3 or 911 I most certainly will. There are problems with pictures on the internet. I take a photo with my IQ3 Trichromatic 100 MP Phase One system and this generates a single photo file of 120-180 MB each. These photos, when viewed on my 5K reference monitor, are simply stunning. The internet with its 72 PPI and downsized and down rez files that are 5 MB each causes great loss especially to color rendition. RC on the .2 GT3 looks absolutely like the RC on Ferarri 458 Spyder or Italia which is why I posted a photo with the two together. It may be much easier for you to see a 458 in person as they are everywhere and most of them will be in RC. If you have a GR GT3 or 911 that may be easier to compare with the 458. I compared the samples of GR and RC that Yana from Atlanta PAG sent me and they were very different from each other which is why I picked Rosso Corsa for my .2 GT3. If they were similar I would not have. Even the guys that work at PPP couldn't figure out the RC .2 GT3 color when my car came in. They said they could tell that it is not the usual Porsche color but could not guess that it was RC.

Congratulations for your .2 RS allocation. I know you must be very excited. Hope you got a MT .2 GT3 to complement the .2 RS.

Thanks Ryan. Now that photo shows the differences in the depth of the RC on 488 GTB which is a stunning car and color. Congratulations. The GR does look somewhat flat in comparison (sorry about that). What is your opinion about the differences when you see them in various lighting conditions. Are there times when they look similar?
Thanks for posting these photos.

GR almost looks pale in comparison to RC. I am sure you are seeing much more difference between the two on your computer screen and in person.
