The .1 RS's are a sweet ride. I don't know, that .1 bumper is a cleaner look to me. Can't get used to the .2 shark.
I don't know why but I agree with you after seeing a couple .2 3RS in person here in Germany. Looks wise I think both the .1 and .2 GT3 are equally brilliant, but for some reason on the 3RS I actually prefer the .1 front bumper and look to the shark nose on the .2, it flows better to me for some reason with the full blown race car look. The .1 3RS design was so good IMO. I still see them around on the roads and parked, and I still stop to take a peek around the car. Maybe that's why the .2 design didn't seem to deviate much aside from front bumper in regards to major aesthetic changes. We are in the minority I bet, as people are clamoring for the newest 3RS.
I don't even think my GT3 has great low down torque (putting myself out there I guess) coming from my C4 with the turbos (I'm not saying anything other than that, I don't think the 4.0 gives you that shove until 3800-4K RPM IMO) so I would have to be really enticed by another improvement on the .2 3RS to make the jump if I owned a .1 3RS.
