Stopped by the shop this morning and the car had already been picked up by either the insurance company or the salvage buyer. No VIN to grab. Was told that the original owner literally cried when this happened, having waited 9 months for the car, only to wreck it in his first months of ownership. However there is some consolation, interestingly, the insurance company paid out the market value of the car (i.e., MSRP + ADM), so at least the original owner made out alright financially.

I find this hard to believe. Maybe he had a Declared Value policy, or something. Either way, I hope they are ok, and happy their Insurance took care of them.

Deacon: It wasn't Hals GT3. This one belongs to someone else, It is Indeed Rhodium silver " one of the few in that color" We have indicated after the incident that NO ONE shall post images of the car except the owner if he chooses to, and it appears that it was insured and it will be repaired.
