991.2 RS if u only own one GT car..this is the one
It's better than 997 in every way
I own both, and drive them
997 was lipstick on a pig of a 1998 996 design
Sure they made more 991..who cares. It's better
If u want a manual the 991 gt3 is great...not once do I get in my 997 and think..wow this clutch is better..this gear box is better
If u like old school do much, why did u get rid of ur blackberry...I'll take my iPhone 11

It's got 27,000 hard miles on it..I don't have the time or energy to deal with someone nit picking it..it's had the **** beat out of it. I'd sell it in a second if I could deal with a buyer..
Only reason I've considered selling 991 rs is I just bought more property in park city, need the $200k I have parked in the car for a few months until I sell my other property out there..I'll buy another 992.2 rs as soon as I move it. I love the car, it's the most perfect Porsche made

Steering feel, feedback chassis, engine noises, shifter feel are for me way more real in 997.2 RS than any 991 GT car. For me 997.2 RS is better drivers car with more driving pleasure.
Possible 991 RS is „better“ car.

The only thing "better" in a 997 rs is shifter feel....because it has a shifter. 991.2rs is the sharpest (and stiffest) driving chassis I've ever driven in a 911 by a big margin. It makes my past 997 feel like a camry suspension tbh. The steering wheel itself (smaller, so better), turn in, and ratio is much improved from the 997 and it's much much louder and goes to 9k rpms and has way better racing seats....This all after the fact I did not mention grip and speed being night and day difference, the lap times show the progress...
wtf, do you think the porsche engineers do all day? How can we make the steering feel feedback, engine all worse more numb? What is more "real" in your 997? the only answer is the manual transmission which I love more than anything, but thats where it starts and also where it ends. Unlike Ferrari, Porsche keeps going more and more hardcore aka loud, stiff, uncomfortable, what racecars inheritantly are.....you should be happy they havent turned soft like Ferrari yet...

Have you driven a 991.2 rs? Pretty much every single generation has gotten better. People LOVE living in the past. when the 997 gen just came out you were the same guy talking about how the 993 was the last "real" 911. I have a 993, that **** sucks compared to my 991 lol (and 997). and If you complain about the "looks" of the 996 or 992, you have lost the point on why you get a 911 to begin with and should go buy a Lamborghini.
