Agree with you on the ugly back end of the 992, and the new Touring will have that too. Don't think the 992 winged cars will have the same issue as those ugly slats will be replaced by a smooth deck with intake scoops just like the current cars (I'm assuming here), and if so I'll be OK with the next RS, but for a wingless Touring, the 991.2's are keepers. Then add a winged 992 GTx in PDK in a few years is my plan.
I'd grab a 991 Touring while you can.

Agree - it seems that some are assuming the Touring is now a permanent fixture in the GT3 lineup. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. At the end of the day, Porsche may have offered the GT3T as a one-off to offset the 991 R mark-up craziness. And yes, if the Touring is offered, if it looks anything like the 992, it will be a rather bulbous and bloated affair.

Or just offer a wing delete option for the Gt3 for people to scratch that itch and make the touring package something that gets added to any Carrera trim.
This was probably way too much investment for Porsche but I quite like the 991 normal body width.
On the 997 the extra width worked. On the 991 I always felt the wide body did not flow as well.
And don’t get me started on the 992.....
