The vendor in this thread is quite arrogant. "How could you make an offer on my used part! It's made in Slovenia by the elves of Elrond!"
Your asking price is strong, and the parts although I'm sure are in good working order definitely are used. Lastly, nobody pays MSRP on full Akra systems. Your not selling GT2 RSs.
The little island of Taiwan has a GDP of $571 billion, with a strong democracy, a free market economy, and a well educated populous. Slovenia has a GDP of $73 billion. No need to talk poorly about a country as a whole. Good products can be made anywhere. It's up the manufacturer to set the level of quality.

I do not think the Vendor is being arrogant. He is basically asking ~25% off for a lightly used system. If some on desires this set-up it is probably a decent deal based off what they sell their new systems for. I happen to think their products are over-priced but , obviously, they sell plenty at their asking price so that is my problem not theirs'. And, I am not questioning their quality. It is top-notch

To clarify I offered $6500 and went on to say I have bought entire cars for less to put the offer into perspective - got to love the cheap Mercedes amg models nowadays!

once again, you have to weigh up risk over reward.. nobody I know who has owned a few 911's gets shafted and pays 100% RRP of retail for parts. we all get concessions and that needs to be factored.
My offer stands
$6500 for the exhaust ( Once again, this is used with no warranty expressed or implied) nobody pays retail.
$485 for the 991 yellow belts you also have! ( SONNEN SELLS THEM FOR $730 BRAND NEW ) Requesting a $245 concession for USED PARTS!
For example, CGT Seats 23k new they trade for 9-10k
997 PCCB ROTORS $23,885 ( I just sold a set I had for $6500 and they were almost brand new )
Fine - sell the parts to someone overseas who will likely scam you

Not trying to tarnish the sale , this Gt3 system has far more than a few thousands miles on it or it was used a ton at the track
If you compare the center muffler to the used components they do not look of the same materiality, of course they are although I am reinforcing my point
I am having a friend with a Wholesale account price me up a new system as obviously my money is no good here

Fair or not fair only gets decided once the deal happens and two agree on a fair price.. its all subjective isn't it? I will say that exhaust looks WELL USED.. the mileage reported is suspect, or the type of use seems quite strong.
In contrast though, I'm about to spend $5k+ on a new 4uscite Termignoni exhaust for a Panigale .. and that's for a motorcycle!!! Makes this akra look well priced maybe...
(Don't make me go into what a custom designed and built Ti exhaust costs either).
I hope buyer and seller find a happy point in the middle..
